Tired of boring working days and the noise of a big city? Just a five-minute drive and all this will disappear into thin air. Welcome to a real fairy tale that the Skatert-Samobranka (Magic Tablecloth) restaurant offers you.

This is a place that has all the advantages of an out-of-town establishment, though it is located within the city. It overlooks a picturesque Dnepr bay and is surrounded by a vast green area, so peace and quiet reign here. They know how to receive guests here: everyone is warmly welcomed, professionally served and generously fed. All your wishes come true here. Wonderful delicacies are conjured up in a jiffy for you.

Having drunk an icy welcome vodka, get down to the menu. Start with cold fish plateau – salt salmon and smoked mackerel accompanied by pickles and wild mushrooms. Go on with everything after your heart: home-style sausages and meat and cabbage rolls (golubtsy), rabbit simmered in wine, fried pork ribs … Salmon under caviar sauce, carp baked in sour cream … For the lovers of smoke-flavoured meat there is a bouquet of shashlyks and kebabs. Children will love ‘Brother Rabbit’ in sour cream and jellied dessert. Moreover, there will be active games in the open air on a well-equipped playground. On Saturdays and Sundays children are looked after by a baby-sitter from 01:00 to 07:00 pm.

The carefree mood here is supported by the interior. In the main hall which is styled like a wooden ‘kolyba’ the whole space is divided into cozy ‘sells’. In the downstairs hall the concept of a wine cellar is realized. In the immediate vicinity of wine barrels, decanters and bottles you are tuned into a friendly party. Those who want to shut themselves away for a banquet or business meeting can use a small detached house. In warm weather you can enjoy the view of the river from a big open terrace and sunbathe on a well-equipped beach.

And this is not all! From April to October the Magic Tablecloth restaurant opens a water leisure season. Any time comfortable ships are ready to take you for a cruise of the Kiev Sea. You can savour the dishes from the restaurant right on board!

At weekends the Magic Tablecloth invites guests for a ride on the Dnepr. One hour is 85 uah.
