Don't you believe those people who allege that interior is something lifeless. Visit the ‘Richelieu’ restaurant, the ‘Fluffy’ Sushi Bar and you will see that each interior has its own unique face. For example, the face of the great French minister Cardinal Richelieu. His fine and a bit crafty look displayed in many portraits, decorate the walls of the restaurant. The atmosphere of the gallant times of His Majesty King Louis XXIII is created not only by the images of the Cardinal. The restaurant's character shows on the summer verandah, that you have to pass to get into the eatery.

The light hall working both in summer and in winter reminds of Parisian streets with begonia on tiny windows of small houses - dovecots. In one of such houses the well-known royal musketeer monsieur D'Artagnan once rented a room. And so many breath-taking intrigues started behind velvet curtains with golden monograms! In the ‘Richelieu’ you will find the very same curtains, opening a photo gallery with portraits of honoured guests. Among them are Mr. Raikin, Fomenko, Baskov, Butusov, Nikolsky, all the Ukrainian showpeople and a significant part of the Russian cultural elite. Having passed the gallery, you will get into a cosy tavern with low sofas and pillows, ancient furniture and a fireplace-stove. The VIP zone Amorous' corner is separated from the main hall by a lattice. On the tables there are candles in elegant candelabrums, the banquet hall is separated from the bar with a brick semicircular arch. The ‘Richelieu’ is designed for 70 seats, all halls can be easily turned into isolated rooms.

The cuisine is declared European with the Ukrainian and Italian cuisines elements. The prices are moderate, each musketeer could have a nourishing lunch here for the advance payment given by monsieur de Treville. The menu has photos, any dish can be first seen - then served. As for the salads, your attention will be certainly attracted by Cold Jeannine - peach halves filled with chicken, cheese, and spring onion, Saint-Jour Bird Liver – chicken liver with vegetables. Pumpkin Carina - pumpkin and potatoes crème soup with shrimps, squids and black caviar is good for all tastes. On the menu there is a wide choice of steaks. The Bastille grilled veal medallions with eggplants stuffed with salmon, mushrooms, and cheese are rather loved by guests. You should by all means order Cardinal Richelieu's Dinner you will not regret it. Veal and pork meat roll stuffed with chicken fillet, spinach and egg is wrapped in bacon and roasted. It is finger licking good! A big choice of fish dishes is impressive. The ‘Richelieu’ also has a big wine list.

If you want something exotic, you can move to the ‘Fluffy’ Sushi Bar, connected with the restaurant by a special corridor. Japanese harmony reigns here. It begins with strictly organized space and continues in light airy decor elements. At the entrance you will see a sushi counter with a shining show-window with sliced tuna, salmon, eel, and other seafood. You can choose anything – and you can make sure it is absolutely fresh. A column with a bas-relief of ‘Kiss’ by Gustav Klimt supports the ceiling. It plays a role of a traditional Japanese screen. Such column is not only the decoration, it influences the space around itself, being both a zone partition and a decorative sculpture at once.

In the ‘Fluffy’ the light is dimmed and soft, the furniture is graceful, the ikebana of green stalks is always on a special table. The sushi bar got its mane from the decor of one of the walls – it is made of fluffy fur pieces. The Japanese menu offers more than 25 fresh fish sushi and rolls: salmon, halibut, tuna, perch, sweet shrimp, tiger prawn, squid, sea scallop, etc. The Californian Rolls in which avocado, sesame, flying fish caviar and other sea exotica are added to fish and rice are very popular. Celebratory sushi and rolls also enjoy invariable popularity. The hit of these offers, Dragon Roll, has fanciful combination of ingredients: eel, flying fish caviar, nori seaweed, rice, avocado, unagi sauce, and sesame seeds.
